Leading NJ Engineering Firm Acquires Surveying Firm
Matawan, NJ - March 12, 2003 - Maser Consulting P.A., one of New Jersey's and New York's leading engineering firms, announces that it recently acquired Santiago Data Systems, a professional land surveying firm from Flanders, New Jersey.
Santiago Data Systems consists of 11 employees and two owners, Richard W. Carlson, Jr., P.L.S. and John J. Hanlon, P.L.S. Richard Carlson, Jr. has joined the firm as a Principal and is the Director of Surveying in the firm's West Nyack, New York office. John Hanlon has joined the firm as a Senior Associate and is the Surveying Department Manager in the firm's Hackettstown office. The remaining staff of Santiago will merge their operations with Maser's Hackettstown location.
Richard W. Carlson, Jr., P.L.S. has over 16 years of experience in surveying. His experience includes highway/route surveys, control surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys and existing conditions mapping. Mr. Carlson is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology and earned an M.S. in Surveying Engineering from Purdue University. While at Purdue University, Mr. Carlson was a research assistant performing research in global positioning systems and geographic information systems. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mr. Carlson is a resident of Rockaway, New Jersey.
John J. Hanlon, P.L.S. is a licensed professional land surveyor and has over 16 years of experience in the surveying and mapping fields. His experience includes highway/route surveys, topographic and boundary surveys and construction layout. Mr. Hanlon is a licensed professional land surveyor in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Georgia and is a member of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors. Mr. Hanlon is a resident of Hackettstown, New Jersey.
Based in Matawan, Maser Consulting has six offices throughout New Jersey and New York, serving both the private and public sector.
