    The following is a summary of recent changes to the New York State Standard Interconnection Requirements (SIR) and Distributed Generation (DG) Application Process for interconnection projects of less than 5 MW. DG projects include solar/photovoltaic, wind, hydro, micro turbines, fuel cells, and anaerobic digesters/biogas.
