2015 Professional Engineers Society of Mercer County – Project of the Year

Provided civil/site engineering, landscape architectural design, and geotechnical engineering for the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds. The newly designed features included two formal entrance ways with improvements to the drop-off loop; a stage; lighting improvements; building alterations to the ice rink; and front entry plaza design, which included paver walks, low seating walls, landscaping, and a rain garden. Our geotechnical professionals also analyzed test pit samples to evaluate the soils for a rain garden.

The completion of the entrance ways, plaza, and ice rink improvements were the second phase of a complete renovation of the Festival Grounds. Previously, Colliers Engineering & Design was retained by the Parks Commission to design a new decorative fence and wall system enclosing the area.
