Raymond Walker, PhD

Division Director - Geotech-Environmental

Dr. Walker is a Senior Principal with over 30 years of experience in ecological/environmental consulting. His specialties include wetland delineation, studies and mitigation, natural resource management, threatened and endangered species studies, environmental impact analysis, and ecobotanical research.

Dr. Walker brings a creative approach to securing regulatory approvals for a broad range of private, municipal, and public development projects that involved complex and challenging ecological issues, including permitting, regulatory approvals, and violation resolutions.

Dr. Walker obtained his Ph.D. in Ecology from Rutgers University and was former Chief of the Surveillance and Enforcement Section for the Philadelphia District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Did you know?

In work as in life, Dr. Walker is dedicated to science and enhancing the natural environment around him. He was a member of the US National Park Service Task Force – Plan for the Pineland National Preserve and Freehold Township Open Space Committee. Today, he is a member of the Science Advisory Committee at the College of Mount Saint Vincent whose mission is to upgrade and improve the scientific resources on campus.
